Their light weight does not affect the comfort during use thanks to the light aluminum alloy used in aviation. To protect the lens, the inner layer of the filter is coated with silicone. Using ND filters, it is also possible to use low exposure times when recording video to achieve the desired effects. The smoke masking process avoids the color conversion problems often encountered with conventional ND filters.
