Marketing description |
The D-Link DWL Series Unified AC Wave 2 Wireless Access Points are specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses or enterprises, providing unmatched bandwidth and flexibility for administrators looking to deploy a medium to large-scale Wi-Fi network with manageable dual-band wireless LAN options and using the state-of-the-art Wireless AC Wave 2 speed. D-Link Unified AC Wave 2 wireless access points can not only work in stand-alone mode, but can also be centrally managed by D-Link Unified wireless controllers Wireless Controllers. Highly manageable and capable of blazing speeds, Unified AC Wave 2 wireless access points integrate seamlessly into any existing network infrastructure and can easily scale to meet future demands. |
Product features |
-
Greater speed and connectivity
The DWL Unified AC Wave 2 Series Wireless Access Points leverage the full potential of 802.11ac Wave 2 to deliver unparalleled connectivity with ultra-high combined data rates. In addition, the DWL series supports Link Aggregation, which allows two Gigabit Ethernet ports to be connected and act as a single port to double the available bandwidth and increase the total throughput of the access point.
-
MU-MIMO technology
All models of the DWL series support MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output), which allows the device to communicate simultaneously with multiple clients using multiple antennas. This allows the access point to use the spectrum more efficiently and significantly increase network capacity.
-
Easy installation
The DWL series can be ceiling or wall mounted to meet the needs of any wireless application. For added flexibility, all D-Link Unified AC Wave 2 wireless access points have integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, allowing the devices to be installed in locations where electrical outlets are not readily available.

Advanced wireless features
D-Link Unified AC Wave 2 wireless access points support 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) for increased throughput and better performance of time-sensitive traffic such as VoIP and DSCP streaming. All D-Link Unified AC Wave 2 wireless access points support Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM), so in the event of network congestion, time-sensitive traffic can be prioritized over other traffic. Additionally, when multiple access points are in close proximity to each other, an access point will reject new association requests after its resources are fully used, allowing the association request to be accepted by a neighboring device, allocating the load on several access points. Bandwidth management technology enables Unified AC Wave 2 wireless access points to intelligently place clients in the optimal wireless bandwidth to avoid congestion, and enables smooth video streaming, seamless browsing and fast downloads for mobile devices. The Airtime Fairness feature ensures that every client is given equal airtime, which provides increased performance even if slower devices are connected. 802.11k Fast Roaming is also supported, which allows the wireless client to move seamlessly between access points.
