This TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card has been disassembled and rebuilt to provide more stable power and cooling. An all-metal housing houses three powerful axial-technology fans that use durable dual ball bearings. The rotation of the fans is optimized to reduce turbulence, and the stop mode stops all three fans at low temperatures. Underneath, a thick radiator keeps the temperature under tight control. Additional features including TUF components, Auto-Extreme technology and a rear panel ventilation system make the TUF a true powerhouse. |

Design of an axial-technological fan
TUF Gaming cards use the proven axial-technology fan design, with three fans working in tandem to meet the thermal demands of NVIDIA's high-octane design. The fans rely on dual ball bearings to provide consistent performance and increased durability compared to sleeve bearings and other types of bearings.
-
MaxContact technology
To get heat out of the die and into the heatsink array, use MaxContact technology to polish the surface of the heatsink and improve smoothness on a microscopic level. The extra smoothness allows for better contact with the die for improved heat transfer.
-
2.7 slot design
The heat spreader funnels the heat up into heat pipes, which carry it across a stack of fins filling most of the card's large 2.7-slot area.
-
Components of TUF
Components are selected for TUF Gaming graphics cards based on their durability and performance. In addition to advanced chokes and MOSFETs, better capacitors make the TUF stand tall among the competition. The components are soldered to the PCB using the advanced Auto-Extreme automated manufacturing process.
-
Fresh coat
The all-aluminum shroud adds rugged protection to TUF Gaming graphics cards, and the no-nonsense industrial design and cool color scheme blend in with any setup with ease.
-
It's cooler in the back
The underside of the map reveals further improvements. Most of the rear is wrapped in a protective metal backplate, which features a wide vent. The vent allows hot air to escape to the chassis exhaust fans instead of going back into the cooler. Stainless steel is used for the inlet/outlet bracket to protect the ports and ensure a more secure installation.
-
Functional front
An eight-pin connector fulfills the GeForce RTX 3060's power requirements, and the built-in LEDs light up if the power connectors are not plugged in properly.
